Jazz
Jazz at LDC introduces and enhances the basic movements of jazz dance. Dancers will work to fun, upbeat music on rhythm, poise, and flexibility. Our program draws from classical, theater/cabaret, funk, and Fosse styles. Each class begins with a choreographed warm-up, followed by isolations, technique across the floor, turns, jumps, and choreography.

Dress code
Girls: Black leotard and skin-toned tights. Leggings or shorts optional. Canvas skin-toned jazz shoes. Hair pulled back. Boys: Black shorts or pants with white shirt, black canvas jazz shoes.
