Welcome to Lejeune Dance Company

​

Lejeune Dance Company offers dance classes to military families stationed at Camp Lejeune and New River. Classes offered are creative movement, ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, acrobatics and integrative/therapeutic dance for ages 18 months-adults!   At LDC we focus on the development of the whole child.  We help our dancers grow physically, build and strengthen social-emotional skills, foster creativity, and challenge cognitive capacities.​  Our number one focus at LDC is on safety and the wellbeing of the dancer.  All instructors at LDC are certified in Alixa Strength & Flexibility and LDC is an Acrobatic Arts Certified Studio.

Performance Opportunities
 

Experience a fun, warm,  non-competitive, community & family oriented  environment!  At LDC we focus on the art of dance, technique, and building the confidence of our dancers both on the stage and off.  Our company has two annual recitals (a holiday show and a spring recital) and offers multiple performance throughout the year both on the military installation of Camp Lejeune & New River as well as in Onslow County.  Performance participation is optional!

When you join LDC, you are joining a family!  We understand how difficult frequent moves can be for military children.  Our mission at LDC is to help ease that transition for you and your child.   All of our dancers are part of 'The Company'!  We focus on team building activities, strengthening bonds, and self-confidence and empowerment.  Once a company member, always a company member! Dancers who move away from the area may always return back to classes when they are back in the Camp Lejeune area.
